Price rises for natural gas in Ireland may be on the way?
The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) in Ireland has recently published its proposal to raise the IC tariff by 20% from 1st Apr ‘13, rising from €291/MWh to €350/MWh.
This will probably mean increases in standing charge prices if suppliers decide to pass through this cost to the consumer. Be aware of this when budgeting for your energy bills in the coming months.
