Irish #diesel use grows while #petrol continues to shrink

As diesel continues to become the fuel of choice for Irish motorists, biofuels have started to make small inroads into the quantities of oil consumed but are still below the government's target of 4% per annum.

All volumes of diesel and petrol consumed continue to drop year-on-year as more fuel efficient cars are added, old inefficient cars are removed, economic activity remains largely static and more people switch to sustainable transport.
