Elevation is a specialist investment manager in the healthcare real estate sector with over £1.9 billion assets under management across Europe. Since 2018, Elevation has established nine investment funds, matching capital partners to healthcare investment opportunities across leases, lending, and operational joint ventures.

Acting as a specialist healthcare conduit for institutional capital into the market, Elevation invests across the continuum of care, including: senior care homes; rehabilitation clinics; and specialist care (learning disabilities and mental health).

Elevation is a reporting member of GRESB (Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark), a framework that assesses and benchmarks the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance of real estate and infrastructure investments for financial markets, and is also used by Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) globally for sustainability reporting.

To paint a more comprehensive picture of their current and future financial risks and opportunities, Elevation became a reporting member to GRESB.

Elevation faced difficulties collecting, tracking, and analysing energy and carbon data for their growing portfolio of real estate assets, and needed an automated, centralised, cloud-based solution that could streamline these processes.

To facilitate regular reporting and analysis, Elevation wanted to collaborate with tenants to make it easy and efficient for them to provide their utilities data.

The software itself is really intuitive with a simple upload process. The backend support is reactive and very helpful. Without EnergyElephant, our data would likely be stored in an Excel spreadsheet which would be clunky, cumbersome, and time-consuming to use. We are definitely saving time using the software, and delivering more analytics than we would otherwise be able to. The software has had a direct impact in improving our GRESB score year on year.
